The Balloons of Cappadocia.
Cappadocia, a contorted landscape of surreal rock shapes and psychedelic stone patterns. It’s a place that displays the randomness and beauty of nature’s creative abilities, in an open air forum that never fails to disappoint those in search of incredible landscapes and beautiful panoramas.
In Turkey, I travelled to the Goreme National Park, where every morning as the sun rises, hundreds of hot air balloons float upwards, to drift high above the Cappadocian terrain.
I had my first ever hot air balloon experience, with Butterfly Balloons, and here are the best photos from the air.
These are the Balloons of Cappadocia.

Butterfly Balloons offered me a complimentary balloon ride to experience their service and to experience Cappadocia in the best way possible, but any opinions expressed in this article and on the website are my own opinions.
