I took these pictures island hopping around tropical Coron in the Philippines! They might just inspire you to travel there too… And This May, You Can Travel There With Me!
Coron is spectacular. Limestone karsts rise out of the turquoise waters while jagged cliffs form a natural and unique skyline across the ocean. The warm waters can be snorkelled in the hot sun and the labyrinth of rocks and islands that surround Coron hide a maze of coral reefs, lagoons and even freshwater lakes. It is, quite simply, everything you have ever been told a tropical paradise should look like.
Except Coron is real… And it’s incredible…
I travelled to Coron last year, and I loved it so much that I’m going back again this year. And this time I’m taking a load of bloggers with me too. I’ll be travelling there in May 2018, and I’m travelling with Travel Continuously.
Travel Continuously is my new website, and along with Co-Founder and YouTuber The Life Of Jord we are showing aspiring Digital Nomads around the world how they can live location independent lifestyles. But rather than just writing about it, we thought we’d show people how to do it, so we’ve organised the first ever Travel Continuously Summit, and we are taking 10 up and coming bloggers with us to see the beauty of the Philippines first hand. This is a different sort of trip, a trip that will set you up with the skills to succeed in the blogging world, and all under the incredible backdrop of Coron!
And if these spectacular pictures of Coron don’t inspire you to join us in the Philippines then not much will!

The Philippines is a country comprised of over 7000 islands. Coron is a just one of those islands, and it’s surrounded by a few more, but it could well be one of the most spectacular in the Filipino archipelago.
Like anywhere in the Philippines, with so many islands the best way to get around is by boat. Limestone karsts and rugged cliffs make for a dramatic backdrop to an island hopping trip around Coron, and the blue water is always inviting.
With the fierce Filipino sun shining down on you, the blue lagoons and hidden freshwater lakes of Coron are the perfect spots for a refreshing, cooling dip.
The Coron locals are pretty friendly too- like most Filipinos! They will be happy to welcome you to their spectacular home, and in Coron town there are plenty of restaurants and bars open so you can get fully involved with the unique food and culture.
In the waters around Coron, sunken wrecks now make for incredible snorkelling and diving spots. Some are only a few metres below the surface, acting as easily accessible reefs that the local marine life now thrive on.
And with such diverse marine life, you are sure to see something amazing everyday in the water.
The white sandy beaches are perfect for sinking back into and relaxing the day away.
Little tropical huts on the islands can give you a bit of shade from the sun, and perhaps give you the perfect place to work and blog from in paradise!
The stunning scenery will have you photographing away for hours at a time, as you cruise around watching the cliffs and islands pass by.
And everyday the sunsets are like a pastel painting. Coron really is a beautiful place.

I also was in Coron last November and all I can say is that, this place is really amazing! The natural beauty of the place will really keep you in awe. A 3D/2N stay in Coron is not enough to explore this beautiful island.
I’ve been to Coron several times already and I want to go there again this summer. Coron is truly a gem and it’s an amazing place to snorkel! I just can’t get over the beautiful place of Coron and the amazing tour packages offered by Ultimate Coron Experience (ultimatecoronexperience.com) They are my trusted partner when it comes to Coron tours!
Thanks for the great post! Your photos look quite stunning and inspiring. I intend to use my 5-day off to travel in the Philippines, but now I don’t know to choose between Palawan and Coron. Which one is more beautiful and convenient to reach?
Your blog post made me miss Coron, Palawan even more :), I really adore how polite and caring the locals are. Also, I love that they kept the beauty of Coron considering that there are lots of hotels built in the place. I’m going back to Coron next month.
