These Photos Will Inspire You To Travel To Montenegro!
I travelled to Montenegro, one of Europe’s newest members. Now I want to inspire you to do the same!
A country which only split from its bigger neighbour Serbia in 2006, Montenegro is young and looking for a good time. Now is the prime moment to visit this beautiful Balkan nation.
Montenegro has all the beauty and more of the popular Croatian coastline to its north, but it’s a fraction of the cost and there’s a fraction of the number of visitors. It’s just crying out to be visited.
If you like incredible coast lines, Montenegro is the next destination for you.
If you love untouched mountain scenery, Montenegro has mountains, mountains and more mountains.
If you love getting drunk on cheap Balkan rakija, then the Montenegrins do this too well.
If you want a new European destination to explore that’s still off the beaten track, then Montenegro is that country.
But act fast. The biggest secret in Europe won’t stay secret for long.
If you don’t believe me then read on, because these photos will inspire you to travel to Montenegro!
The mighty Durmitor National Park is home to the biggest mountains in Montenegro and one of Europe’s highest altitude towns, Zabljak.
Durmitor is a hiker’s paradise. The dogs love it too.
Montenegro has glacial lakes, towering mountains and colourful woodlands to offer the visitor.
Then there’s the Tara Canyon, one of the deepest gorges in the world. If you dare, sit on the bench that looks right into the abyss.
The alpine-esque scenery is simply stunning.
Even the built up capital Podgorica, has its magical moments. Especially at sunset.
The Bay of Kotor has sun, sand and good looks. And it’s where the parties are at too.
Kotor is a walled city. One to rival Dubrovnik. It’s got history and medieval relics to flaunt.
By the old walls of Kotor, the wealthy park their yachts. But it’s not yet a city that has price tags to match the rich clientèle.
Montenegro is the country that never stops giving.
